Dr. Enikő Ladányi
I am Enikő Ladányi, originally from Hungary, and I joined the Department of Linguistics at the University of Potsdam in 2022 as a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow. Since then, I was honored to receive the Brandenburg Postdoc Award in 2023 and to be awarded a PNB Individual Grant in 2024. My current research investigates whether musical rhythm training can benefit language development in children. The PNB grant allows me to independently advance this work, helping me improve theoretical models while providing the essential groundwork for future rhythm-based tools for children with language disorders. Following this fellowship, I intend to remain in the academic environment and work toward a professorship, where I can continue my fundamental research while also translating these scientific findings into practical support for children.
